Dreams Group: This is a brainchild of Ramesh Mehta, the Chairman & Managing Director of the Company. We began our business activities in 1996 with a very humble background with the first project being as small as 10,000 sq ft. Since then we have never looked back and today we have ten ongoing projects with a total area under construction of close to 3 Mn sq ft. Going forward we would be launching about 4 Mn sq ft of new projects aggregating to ten in the calendar year 2012. This has largely been possible because of the vision and determination of Ramesh Mehta to make it happen. He has been the driving force behind this astonishing growth. Over the years we have launched some very challenging projects and met with enviable success. Dreams Aakruti in one such case in point which was launched in the peak of recession. This project may not be very big by industry standards but for us it was the first big project. To take such a bold step in difficult times was not easy but again some of our core in-house strengths such as a very experienced and a qualified team especially at the top, a well thought out product, a good pulse of the market and strong belief in our operating style and set of values told us that “Yes we can do it.
